What we do
As society evolves and people experience different stressors and pressures in their lives, there seems to be an increasing number of people struggling with mental health issues as they attempt to navigate the challenges they face. At O'Joy, we understand that can be an isolating and scary experience, therefore we commit to accompanying our clients along this journey by providing professional counselling services to help support them through these difficult periods in their lives.
Criteria for services
Persons aged 21 years old and above who are struggling with the following issues/concerns. (Persons aged 18-20 years old would be assessed for suitability for services on a case-by-case basis)
Mood disorders (eg. Depression, Anxiety etc.)
Anger management issues
Complex trauma, trauma-related issues
Grief and loss (eg. Bereavement, health etc.)
Difficulties with interpersonal relationships
Adjustment-related issues (eg. Transiting into a new job, marriage, school, different life stage etc.)
Stress-related issues (eg. Work, School etc.
Our first assessment session is free-of-charge. Subsequently the fees are chargeable as below.
Centre-based counselling sessions:
$50 per session during office hours (8am – 5.30pm)
$60 per session after office hours (last session begins at 6.30pm). This is subjected to availability and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
*Our fees stated above are negotiable. If you are facing challenges in your financial situation, you can discuss with your counsellor during the first assessment session to come to a mutual agreement about the counselling fees.*
